So the NBS MarkeTHINK Club’s inaugural MarCamp 2011 went without a hitch, and we hope that those who turned up thoroughly had a whale of a time! (: Judging from the hilarious (and some, almost embarrassingly epic!) videos submitted to us for the Food Channel segment, it seems like everyone certainly did!
We absolutely cannot wait to unveil all those smashing videos during our Marketing Welcome Day this Wednesday (please see previous post for more details).
But back to MarCamp.
The first-ever Marketing camp ran by the Club saw 5 fantastic OGs- Aiolos, Kleio, Orion, Daimon and Echo- headed by very capable (and well, sometimes crazily enthusiastic!) OGLs from the MarkeTHINK Club (: Kudos to all OGLs and the ever-hardworking Ops team working in the background, yay!

The OGs came together for a great afternoon of getting-to-know-you games, teaser forfeits, a delicious “lunch treat” of lemons and wasabi, MAD AWESOME LASER TAG….

And of course, the Food Channel segment (No pictures for you here because it’ll be a surprise- come see the videos on 17 August!).

Our happy campers also received a spiffy exclusive Marketing t-shirt to call their own! (What most people don’t know, though, is that the 5th Comm loved the tees too much and wanted to keep it to themselves at first! Alas, good things must be shared, ha ha)

Most of our campers arrived for the camp because of their own personal reasons, like wanting to make more friends in the Marketing specialisation, to learn more about the Marketing spec, to meet seniors and get to learn all the tips/tricks etc. After a whole day of bonding, we sure hope that’s what each of you got! (:
